To Wakkanai

Over 150 kilometers of foggy landscapes—my last and longest ride. I felt isolated among abandoned towns, an unending road, and the occasional Soviet-looking snow shelter. There were animals here and there, mainly foxes, but their thin frames only added to the eeriness. It all felt a little surreal. By the end, my legs had little left to give, but they didn’t need much—flat roads, a light tailwind, and the pull of the finish made the ride a joy 😄
